Meet Dr. Mike

Dr. Michael B. Zack, BS DCHello, my name is Dr. Mike.  And to be completely honest, I didn't always like chiropractic.  I thought chiropractic was dangerous, unproven and of course once you start going you have to go 3 times a week for the rest of your life.  So, when a chiropactor and close family friend offered to give me an adjustment for a terrible headache I was having, I politely declined.  After having that headache for 3 consecutive days, I politely accepted an adjustment.  A lot of things changed for me that day.

When I was in pain, I wanted relief.  After my 1st treatment, I started to feel better.  My experience was so positive that I chose to become a chiropractor and help others with headaches, neck pain and of course back pain.

Often, I hear similar stories in our office.  The pain has gotten so bad that I thought I would give chiropractic a try.  It's amazing how many times we hear this in practice.  You know, we also hear things like "I've been healing faster than I thought possible" (Jacob V.), "I've been impressed with how much I've improved" (Scott M.), and "your treatment is nothing short of wonderful" (Dorothy R.).  Research is also showing how effective chiropractic is and many of the studies are shown on this website under chiropractic news and our video library.  We get tremendous results.

I graduated from the California University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelors degree in Biology and I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA.  I'm a member of the Wisconsin Chiropractic Association and I've been practicing in Ozaukee County since 2005.

My approach is to use research and my clinical experience to create treatment plans that match with the patients wants, needs and preferences.  I use chiropractic extremity adjusting, chiropractic spinal adjustments, flexion-distraction, ultrasound, muscle stim, mechanical traction, moist heat and therapeutic exercises when appropriate.  I make myself readily accessible to patients for care, often seeing patients on evenings and the weekends.

I reside in Cedarburg with my wife, Mariah, and our children Sebastien, Raegan and Remy.  In my free time I enjoy fishing, camping, cooking, exercising and sports.
